KIDS BOUTIQUE NOW HIRING! Part Time Sales Associate / Buyer (Sherwood Forest / Coursey – BATON ROUGE)
REfinery KIDS is currently seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual who has a passion for kids and their clothing, equipment, toys, shoes, and accessories to work in our fast paced store. We are currently hiring for a BUYING position. A buying position is a position of responsibility, and includes selecting clothing to purchase from sellers and consignors that come into our store.
This ad is for a PART TIME BUYING position – you will be trained on our systems for selecting and entering kids items into our computer system.You must be:
* Energetic
* Dependable
* Seeking a fast paced environment
* Knowledge of children’s clothes and equipment a huge plus
As a REfinery employee, you will be responsible for helping customers, answering the phone, stocking / organizing the store, and ringing up customers. You will also assist customers with their selections through personal, one-on-one interaction and the sharing of your knowledge and expertise.
Successful applicants will have previous knowledge and / or job experience with kids equipment, clothing, shoes, toys, or accessories. Strong cash handling (math) skills, a familiarity with computers, working on Saturdays, the ability to lift 35 pounds, and the ability to stand on your feet for 7+ hours a day are an absolute must. It’s OK if you have never worked at a kids store before, but it’s a big plus if you know how to unfold a stroller or set up a pack’n’play!
You will work about 35 hours/week, including Saturdays.

We are located about two blocks south of I-12 on Sherwood Forest Boulevard, next to Baskin Robbins Ice Cream and Aveda Hair Salon and school.
